Ok I was reading Bleach and I gotta say, GO READ IT NOW - stop wasting your moneys on other mangas and read Bleach. I love this picture.... just not all the squares and shading on the original. So i redrew it, also I changed the eye.
***Slight Spoiler Below***

Rukia to me.... will always be defiant, fighting the good fight. So I changed the eye a bit. Instead of looking forward, she's looking up and looks a bit mad. What made me love the original drawing was the tension of her gag and the straight sever spikes of her hair. To me, her expressions was... well it didn't go with the rest of the piece. I mean yes, she was all depressed, but I like the few subtle changes I made. Wow, I rambled.

I really like the feel of this peice and how you can really see the emotion in her eyes. It's very impressive. The defiant way she's looking back and the way it looks as if she's biting the cloth as if to say "You can't quiet me" is breathtaking.

I've never read the manga but I do believe you've done the character justice.

Overall, quite good. I might be tempted to colour it myself. Do you have a prefered colour pallette?
